At Shepherd Farms, we are dedicated to raising Australian and English Shepherds with exceptional temperaments and dispositions. Both parents are pure-bred: Dad is a pure-bred Australian Shepherd and Mom is a pure-bred English Shepherd. Our dogs are AKC Registered and health tested to ensure they are healthy, long-living companions. We strive to produce loyal, friendly dogs that get along well with both animals and people.

About the Breeds:

    • English Shepherds: Known for their excellent herding abilities and strong work ethic, English Shepherds are intelligent, protective, and make wonderful family pets.

 

    • Australian Shepherds: Energetic, versatile, and highly trainable, Australian Shepherds are also known for their herding skills and affectionate nature.

 

We couldn’t run our farm without them—they deserve a paycheck!

 

When it comes to the English-Australian Shepherd mix, you can expect an intelligent, active, and loyal dog with a sweet disposition. These hybrid dogs tend to inherit the best characteristics from both parent breeds, including intelligence, loyalty, and herding instincts.

 

At Shepherd Farms, our puppies are raised in a home setting and socialized from birth. We believe the perfect family dog starts with early work done by the breeder. Once the puppies’ eyes and ears are open, we expose them to various sights and sounds to ensure they grow up to be confident in any situation. We work diligently to provide each puppy with the fundamental basics for the best possible start in life.

My name is Lindsey! My boyfriend, Reed, and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Mark and Mrs. Misti at Troy Fest 2024 in Troy, Alabama!

    It was a normal weekend, and I was checking in on Reed as he was working the fest with Troy FD. I had been walking around, just looking at all the booths everyone had set up, when I spotted Mr. Mark and Mrs. Misti with their wagon full of pups! At the time, Reed and I had no intention of looking for a new family member, but we knew we wanted one in the future. Well… they just kept getting closer to where we were, and I just had to go see the precious pups! Then, we found our sweet Millie Jane!!

    Mr. Mark, Mrs. Misti, and their team made getting her such a fun and easy experience! As young people getting into buying a dog, that’s just what we needed, and I’m so blessed we found them! There was no hassle during the process of actually paying or receiving MJ whatsoever. They are truly the sweetest people ever, and the love they have for their dogs just radiates off of them! Thanks to them, we now have a new best friend who keeps us going all the time, and we couldn’t love her more!

Shepherd Farms is truly outstanding! We are incredibly grateful to have met Mrs. Misti and her husband. They made sure to send us plenty of pictures of our sweet puppy and were always incredibly kind whenever we interacted with them. It’s evident that they genuinely love each and every puppy with all their hearts. Millie is the perfect addition to our family—she loves to play, learns quickly, enjoys being outside, and is very friendly and loving. She is also very good with kids! Our experience purchasing a puppy from Misti and Mark was 10/10! The love and care they have for their animals is unmatched.
